This year’s SWYAA Morning Assembly was held on April 25 (April 24). Because of the time difference, we had two parts: Part 1 for the Americas and Part 2 for Asia & Pacific, the Middle East, and Europe. More than 30 members joined the sessions and discussed future activities.
Discussion Topics:
- How can we keep the spirit and values of SWY alive during the years when the program is not held?
- How can we sustain AA activities, and what new ideas can we explore?
Key ideas and actions (highlights from the discussion):
- Enhancing online engagement
→ Organizing interactive sessions such as cultural exchange activities and professional knowledge-sharing sessions - Strengthening regional and local activities
→ Holding joint events between neighboring countries and participating in more accessible and cost-effective activities - Developing collaborative projects
→ Joining cross-country initiatives such as blood donation campaigns and tree-planting activities - Improving communication channels
→ Creating a centralized platform for communication and collaboration
Many more ideas and future actions were also discussed.
