SWYAA Spain announces the official launch of SWY Academy, a new international platform for online training that is free and open, aimed at strengthening youth leadership, intercultural dialogue, and the exchange of best practices within the global community linked to the Ship for World Youth program.
SWY Academy is designed as a dynamic and practical learning space, based on masterclasses delivered by SWY alumni with extensive professional experience (“SWY Elders”) and invited international experts from various countries and sectors.
Each session will last ninety minutes and will be structured around:
・The analysis of a real best practice that has occurred in the world,
・Strategic reflection on the learnings derived from it,
・A broad question-and-answer space,
・A final challenge that participants can apply in their communities, universities, or professional environments
The goal of SWY Academy is to provide a transformative experience in each meeting, fostering connections between SWY generations, critical thinking, and social action.
The platform is open to the entire SWY community, as well as to family, friends, and young people interested in international cooperation, innovation, culture, health, sports, and coexistence among people.
During its first year of operation, SWY Academy will develop a yearly cycle of monthly masterclasses organized around five major academic areas: Global Affairs and Diplomacy; Innovation, Science, and Sustainability; Culture, Communication, and Education; Sports, Well-being, and Social Cohesion; and Global Economy and International Business.
This initiative is part of SWYAA Spain’s strategy to strengthen institutional capabilities and its commitment to promoting mutual understanding between cultures, the formation of responsible leaders, and international cooperation.
SWYAA Spain invites all alumni associations of the Ship for World Youth program, educational institutions, public and private entities, and members of the international community to join this new stage of academic and global collaboration.
